Our people are the best. Our service is out of this world. And our career development is second to none.

Finance Apprenticeships

Every day, we provide food and support services to millions of people all over the world. We also clean over one million square feet of office space and provide security to events (big and small) nationwide. So, when you start to think about the numbers involved, you can see why it’s so important to keep on top of the figures in everything we do.

It’s why we’re always looking for talented young people like you to join us on our Finance Apprenticeship. As one of our Finance Apprentices, you’ll offer support to our accounting and finance teams – helping to drive our business – and your career – to even greater heights.

What will I do?

Well, you’ll have a really big role to play from day one, but we’ll give you all the training and support you need to get you up and running. It won’t be long until you’re taking responsibility for all sorts of financial information and control services for our Finance and Operating teams.

Supported by our finance experts every step of the way, it’s a role that’ll call on all your skills and ambition as you help us to continue improving our service levels, management information and processes.

Bringing your own ideas to the table, you’ll help us to get even better at what we do. So, as you can see, it’s a real job with real responsibilities – and it’s a big job too. And in return, the rewards will be just as big.

What’s in it for me?

The prospects for our Finance Apprentices really are impressive. Not only will you gain a Level 4 Higher Apprenticeship (before moving on to a professional CIMA qualification), you can also expect to become a fully qualified professional accountant within five years – and there are plenty of places to go within our business once you’ve qualified.

You could go on to become one of our commercial business finance managers or even a sector finance director – the opportunities really are endless. How far you go is up to you.

Is it right for me?

We’re looking for people with:

  • A Level grades at B or above (preferably one to be Maths)
  • Maths GCSE to at least grade B
  • Must be willing to relocate to Birmingham
  • Strong desire to study for accountancy qualification and understanding of what this qualification can offer you
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to plan and organise your own work
